I have finally moved all my web hosting around so hopefully things will be a bit faster around here.  I hopefully will be able to get most of the site restored, so hang in there and see what happens.

Well the wedding is over and Liz and I have finally gotten a dog. His name is Bogart and he came from the Delaware Humane Society. He is a lab husky mix or at least that is what they tell me. He has the face of a lab and the colors of a husky. Here are a few pics.

If anyone has noticed this site is coming up VERY slowly. I have found there to be an issue with my hosting provider playing around with the database that runs the back end of the website. I have contacted them and so far they have not been able to give me a date as to when this issue will be resolved. All they said was something to the effect that they are upgrading the DB servers which should resolve performance. All I know is that if they keep this up much longer I am going to be looking for a new hosting provider, anyone have any good hosting providers they would recommend?

Why is water one of those things that we all need yet such a pain in the a**. I came home Friday to a nice river running down the driveway. As my heart drops into my stomach knowing that it is coming from inside the house, I rush in to find a pipe had frozen and burst showering my living room and attic with water. The worst part is that I do not know how long it was running but I can only imagine that it was running all day. After shutting off the water to the house I called the insurance company and a plumber. The plumber came out and after telling my which arm and leg I needed to give him to pay for the repair he fixes the affected pipe, the whole time remarking that he couldn’t believe how bad the damage was. So the plumber comes and goes and in comes the friendly neighborhood water clean-up crew. They proceed to rip down all the insulation and pieces of drywall from the room as well as the lovely Pergo floor in the kitchen. The have setup dehumidifiers and fans to dry the walls and ceilings. So now my house sounds like a wind tunnel, which makes sleeping a little hard. Hopefully they fans and stuff wont last much longer but there is no guarantee of that. I will post more when I find something out until then enjoy the pics.
